About your instructor:
Jackie has been teaching birthing classes in the Gallatin Valley for over
ten years. She was originally certified as a Bradley Method instructor.
In 2009, she spent a week with renowned midwives, Ina May Gaskin and
Pamela Hunt at The Farm in Tennessee.
Relaxation, deep breathing and centering oneself for the incredible
experience of giving birth is the thread that weaves through Jackie's six
week class series. Nutrition for mom and baby, knowledge about the birth
process for dad or any support person who takes the class, handling
challenges naturally and making decisions along the way are also a part of
this comprehensive preparation.
Jackie and her husband, Mark, live in Big Sky where they run their
business, The Hungry Moose Market and Deli. They have three sons.
